based in miami, florida, i am a transdisciplinary artist whose practice navigates the layered terrains of queerness as they take shape through the body, experience, and fantasy. working through an autobiographical lens, i approach art-making as a site where social, political, and cultural tensions can be reimagined, refracted, or dismantled. my practice is deliberately evasive of rigid categories, moving fluidly across photography, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, painting, video, and performance to construct atmospheres and worlds that exceed normative expectations of form and meaning.
across these shifting modalities, i forge spaces that operate like extra-dimensional thresholds—zones where my recurring characters, from coneheads to clowns, coexist with ritual objects, distorted architectures, and uncanny gestures. these worlds function as speculative terrains where queerness is not simply represented but enacted, inhabited, and felt.
central to my practice is an engagement with ruptures in meaning-making—those moments where language falters, coherence fractures, or intelligibility thins. i treat these thresholds as fertile ground: openings through which new modes of perception and queer affect can surface. within these fractures, i cultivate atmospheres of terror, melancholy, horror, the uncanny, and negation, not as mere emotional states but as material forces capable of reshaping how we sense and interpret the world.
my practice is a form of world-building. through accumulative gestures—ritual, craft, embodiment, performance—i construct “strange places” where critique becomes an affective experience rather than a literal one where queerness unfolds as a multidimensional, transformative field of possibility.
