informed by surrealist strategies of automatic writing, my work with the typewriter traces an interior psychography. moving through themes of trust, eroticism, and desire, i treat the typewriter as an instrument of immediacy, where error is not corrected but absorbed into form. at other moments, i shift toward density—using accumulated text as a kind of textile, a field of weaving. across these approaches, the work interrogates historical conventions of typography, positioning text as both psychological mirror and material surface.
